KEMPEN "ANDA BIJAK JAUHI ZINA'

Dental Student Club di bawah kelolaan Biro Pembangunan Sahsiah & Kerohanian julung-julung kalinya akan menganjurkan program khas yang diberi nama KEMPEN "ANDA BIJAK JAUHI ZINA". Program ini akan dijalankan secara berterusan selama 2 minggu bermula pada 17 Oktober 2011 dan menjangkakan penglibatan menyeluruh daripada semua pelajar pergigian USIM.

Antara objektif utama program ini adalah seperti berikut:

1. Melahirkan pelajar pergigian yang seimbang dari segi akademik & agama, selaras dengan apa yang sering dilaungkan oleh Dekan Fakulti Pergigian USIM; 'Fostering a balanced professional in dentistry'

2. Memberi kesedaran & pengetahuan kepada pelajar-pelajar tentang bahaya & akibat daripada melakukan perbuatan zina yang kian membarah pada hari ini.

3. Membawa perubahan secara langsung kepada pelajar terutamanya yang sedang dilamun cinta agar menyalurkan perasaan fitrah nan suci itu kepada yang sebenarnya, iaitu pemilik cinta yang sebenar; Allah SWT.

Sepanjang 2 minggu program berlangsung, pelbagai aktiviti telah dirangka antaranya: tazkirah di setiap kelas sebanyak 2 kali seminggu, tayangan video, pertandingan menulis artikel dan sebagainya. Bagi pertandingan menulis artikel, sebanyak 2 artikel perlu dihantar oleh setiap 'batch' untuk diadili oleh juri-juri professional. Pelbagai hadiah menarik akan disediakan bagi yang berjaya.

Sebagai kesimpulan, marilah kita bersama memeriahkan dan menghayati program yang akan dijalankan ini demi melahirkan generasi doktor pergigian yang serba serbi faham & cakna akan masalah yang semakin menular dalam kalangan generasi kita pada hari ini.

Program LIQO' merupakan salah satu aktiviti terbaru yang bakal dianjurkan oleh DSC di bawah kelolaan Biro Pembangunan Sahsiah & Kerohanian; yang di ketuai oleh saudara Ahmad Akmal bin Ahmad Saberi (tahun 2) dan Siti Fakhriah binti Yaakob (tahun 2).

Untuk megetahui keseluruhan sistem yang akan digunakan bagi program LIQO' ini, anda semua dijemput hadir ke MAJLIS PELANCARAN PROGRAM LIQO' pada waktu & tempat seperti yang telah dilampirkan di atas.

Promo: Taaruf Week , White Coat & Best Student Award Ceremony

Yesterday; 10th September, The First Year students were safely arrived at our ~~luxurious apartment~~ hostel after spending three days at our main campus in Nilai for registration & Taaruf Week. To be honest, we seniors are very very excited to meet the juniors and to get to know all the 29 new students.

So people, let us begin this wonderful first week of our semester (Semester 1, 2011/2012) with this two great events:

yeah. I got the point.

Some of you especially the new students may not have any idea on what the event is all about. WHITE COAT CEREMONY is actually a pledge-reading ceremony where all the THIRD YEAR students will recite an oath saying that they will do good in performing their jobs and treating patients for their upcoming 3 years of CLINICAL sessions.

and for the BEST STUDENT AWARD Ceremony...well, as its name portrays: award for excellent students.

After 2 weeks of study leave; the second, third & fourth year students of our faculty will have their final & professional examination, starting from 18th April until 29th April. Below is the schedule of the examination.

The New Board of DSC.

Last week; on 23rd March 2011, the second Annual Grand Meeting (AGM) had been held in
Al-Quds lecture hall. The purpose of the meeting was to nominate and elect the new board of
Dental Student Club (DSC) for 2011/2012 session. The meeting was a blast as we managed to
gather all USIM's Dental Students, from the first until the fourth batch.
